Key Features of Our Industrial Loft Dining Tables
Our range includes rectangular industrial loft dining tables with oak parquet or solid oak tabletops. Parquet tabletops come in 6 or 8 cm thickness, while solid oak tops are 4 cm thick. Notably, the edges of solid wood tops can appear thicker, giving the table a stronger and more robust appearance. Round tables are made with 3.5 cm thick parquet tops or 4.5 cm solid oak tops. Our parquet tabletops are known for their eye-catching herringbone patterns. With rectangular shapes, you can choose between two versions: classic herringbone or Hungarian herringbone.
What’s the difference? The classic herringbone is created by placing the short end of one plank against the side of another, forming a zigzag pattern. The Hungarian herringbone arranges the planks at an angle, also forming a chevron-like effect. Oak tabletops are not only visually striking, but also ecological, practical, and durable – resistant to mechanical damage and full of warmth and character. Wood is so universal that it fits any interior style, and it never goes out of fashion.
Some of our tabletops are set within an angular metal frame. This metal band adds a decorative touch and protects the edges of the wood at the same time.
Our industrial loft dining tables are equipped with metal legs in a variety of shapes. The legs are crucial – they determine both the stability and the visual character of the table.
Matrix legs (also known as "Spider" legs) are placed in the center of the tabletop and offer both solid support and comfortable legroom. U-shaped legs look elegant and don’t get in the way when sitting on the long side. Tables with round legs have a more delicate look and bring lightness to the design. X-shaped legs provide excellent stability and give the table a bold, durable presence. Dalby legs are made from thin profiles, yet they offer strong support and a visually light structure. A-shaped legs are common in both industrial and rustic table designs, combining elegance with simplicity. Among our round tables, you’ll also find designs with Tube or Olden legs.
Industrial loft dining tables are a unique blend of durable wooden tops and stable metal legs. Even though they’re made from tough materials, it’s important to care for them properly. By default, our tabletops are coated with a clear matte lacquer, but customers can also choose from the SOPUR catalog. The base can be finished in clear matte, black matte, or any RAL color.
Oval or Rectangular – Which Table Should You Choose?
Round and oval tables work well in both small and large interiors. With no sharp corners, they bring geometric harmony and flow into a room. They offer a spacious tabletop, and sitting around them is comfortable – no one is stuck by an awkward corner. Everyone can face one another and enjoy open conversation. The only downside: you can’t easily push them against a wall to save space.
A rectangular dining table is a classic choice. Its biggest advantage? It fits into nearly any interior, especially modern spaces. It also works great in smaller rooms since it can be placed along a wall or even extended. However, the sharp corners can be a concern in homes with small children, and when hosting many guests, some people may end up sitting uncomfortably near the corners.
